In the world of project management, there are two types of professionals, those who choose the profession intentionally and those who find it by accident. Much has been made of the accidental project manager, often an exceptionally strong performer who is rewarded with a position managing projects.  Looking at the literature, sometimes you’d think that everyone who is in project management found it that way. However, with the growth of the profession the number of individuals who are joining the ranks of project management intentionally are growing by the minute. This topic is what gave rise to the following question:
